Remember that one time I had a life...?

....So I learned how to play Warhammer 40k on Tuesday.

All I can say is: bye bye, monies... ;_;

I'm pretty sure I'm in love with the game. I think the idea of painting your own figures and battling them is so neat!

My army is in front while Jared's is in the back.
I played a very small 500 point game against my friend, Jared. He asked me if I wanted to play as the Tau or as the Eldar. I chose the Eldar... because honestly, elves in space is the best thing ever!

Maybe it was beginner's luck or the fact that my friend was super nice, but here is the outcome of the game... I won! =D
Lookit all my dudes gangbanging his dudes! =D
He was kind enough to lend me his playbook too so that I can read up on the lore and how a game runs. My only problem here is that I don't know when I'm going to find the time to read it... @.@

Jared also let me try the Warhammer 40K Space Marines game on his PS3. I tell you... if that's not anger management on a disc, I dunno what is. Smashing skulls underfoot? Badass.

Anyway... Warhammer 40k = <3

...and I slowly feel my life slipping away... ^^;

Tell Jared to get off his ass and make some interesting terrain! =P

Tisk, tisk. No flight stands on those jet bikes? Also, why isn't that IC with the avengers? NOOB.

If you guys are going to be playing small games, it might be worth your time to invest in a light 4'x4' board of some kind.

I'm trying to make terrain! Kinda. I should really get a grass mat at least.

Also, most of my flying bases were still packed anyway somewhere. But it was good enough for a demo game!

We'll need to play again... sometime.

Jared: I would love to play again sometime soon. I think it'll have to be after my classes are done... =(

Rory: I wasn't sure where to put that guy. He ended up rolling with the jet bikes for most of the game, but I had no idea where he would be best placed. It's all good though... it worked out!
